Chapter 3: Painting and Drawing with Color

1) Brush Palette

   - contains an unlimited number of options and settings to create and customize brushes. 

  

2) Brush Tool

  - add color to an image or to retouch area of an image.
  - only work on pixels and not on vector image.        

3) Creating Blends

  - smooth transition between 2 or more colors.
  - affect how paint interacts with the pixels underneath the painted area.
  - affects the transparency of the color, pattern, or effect.

4) Eraser Tool

• Normal Eraser Tool

          - Background layer : paints with the background color

          - Normal layer        : erases all data, making that area transparent 

          

• Background Eraser Tool

          - deletes the background pixels of a layer

• Magic Eraser Tool

          - erasers pixels of the same color of the area that was clicked.
